Hi! I would like to use Steemit not only to show you my work as an artist, but also to share my blog posts. On the subject of family life I write about everything that could be useful for other families, whether toys, children's clothing or smart travel. Have fun!

In the word puzzle you automatically think of the classic cardboard pieces. There are especially for children much more exciting alternatives. In this blog post we show you our favorite jigsaw puzzle:

  1. Grimm's color spiral

The color spiral of Grimms is just like every toy of this great brand a real eye-catcher. You can solve the puzzle quite typically as seen in the picture or live out creatively and create completely new patterns and shapes

There is also a magnetic variant that is especially great when traveling: https://amzn.to/2zSvDGR.

  1. Plug-in puzzle with geometric shapes

With this plug-in puzzle children develop a sense for forms. The thick stones are easy to grip and can also be used for building and stacking. We just love versatile toys. 😀

  1. gear puzzle

The almost 10 € I paid for the puzzle was more than worth. The puzzle has been making Rick happy for almost two years. Although it is no longer used daily, but it is not boring. If your child is in love with all sorts of rotary things, this puzzle is for you! The colorful colors and patterns make a great visual effect.

  1. Grimms plug tower

Another Grimms toy. The plug tower looks super decorative, right? He should represent the element water and can also be used accordingly versatile. Unfortunately, this plug-in is currently not available, but plenty of other beautiful models.

  1. sound cubes

Children are generally enthusiastic about noise. The sound cube of Noris rewarding with the typical sound of animals when matching the right parts. However, it is difficult for the very small kids to keep the contacts exactly together. Nevertheless, we like the idea of that toy.

Here are the sound cubes with animals: https://amzn.to/2zRrHpX

If you prefer vehicles clicking on this link: https://amzn.to/2JAgXfp

  1. Vehicles sound puzzle

The wooden puzzle looksunspectacular for the first time, but as soon as a puzzle piece is inserted, the sound of the corresponding vehicle sounds. In the beginning, Rick was a bit scared of the puzzle, as it is quite loud. Therefore, my tip: Stick the speaker off with tape! This dampens the volume and the little ones are not scared. Incidentally, the puzzle reacts to brightness differences. So it makes a noise as soon as the sensor is covered. So it does not matter what you put on it, but it still makes the kids fun 😀 Another tip: Do not forget to turn off the puzzle in the evening, otherwise you will experience some horror even when it honks in the dark from the children's room or living room.

  1. plug caterpillar

The plug-in caterpillar is pretty tricky. The colorful rings do not just have to be put on it, but you have to turn them right to get them over the obstacles. A great part to promote fine motor skills and logical thinking.

  1. inlay puzzle

The insert puzzle by Goki seems simple at first, but it isn't easy. This is because the puzzle pieces are not printed on one side as usual, but look the same on both sides. This makes it harder and more challenging even as an adult. Similar to Grimm's color spiral, you can also use the colorful wood pieces to put and play other pictures.
