A couple of years ago my boyfriend and I decided to start cosplaying as Harley Quinn and the Joker. I'm not even sure how he got this insanely shy, quiet, and introverted person, who normally hides in a corner, to go out into public...wearing this. But I did and it was a lot of fun.

The first go round with the costumes (which I threw together from items out of my closet for mine, or made), was at a Halloween party downtown at our favorite bar.

The couple costumes were a huge hit with everyone and had it not been for our best friend who dressed up as Walter White...

we would have won. However, he clearly deserved the win!
We still are excited to take our costumes to a con event in the future. Whenever that might be. But for a first time cosplayer, who managed to throw together something out of her closet, along with some homemade pieces, not too shabby.
