Hawaiian Sailing Canoe/ fishing trip

The captain and I were out on the water and hooked up these to beauties, in my hands is an "ono" and in captain koka's hands is an "uku."

We sail out of the first resort ever built on the island of Hawaii ( moku O Keawe ) also know as the big Island.

In the background is our Sailing canoe, "wa'a kau lua" or a double hull sailing canoe.

The name of our vessel is "hahalualele" translated into english is " flying manta ray"
