Why we should not seek perfection
Hey Steemians,
Today I am going to talk something which is quite contradictory my nature. I try to be perfect at what I am doing but yet I think seeking perfection is one of the leading barrier which stops you from getting started.
In one of my article on my blog I've mentioned it's one of the reason why most of the people don't have blog and what's stopping them.
Seeking Perfection Makes You Procrastinate
Whenever we think about writing an article we think it must be perfect our title should be catchy, our image should be attractive, it should consist valuable insights and it should consist thousands of words but I see we can convey many things in few words and no matter how we convey it whether it's bad English or grammatical mistakes our readers get connected with our content.
I've been procrastinating a lot on things which I must do in order to accomplish my goals but just because I don't wan to be silly in millions of people. I think I must learn it and they try but the reality is we learn while we implement and most importantly when we fail.
Many people wait for perfect timing or have ducks in a row to start their freelancing business or blog but they wait for perfect time to get start which never happens. Many successful entrepreneurs started when they didn't have any funds they just had strong desire and courage to get started.
One of my favorite quote - "Failure is success when we learn from it" motivates me to do mistakes and learn from my failures.
While writing this article I get another great quote - "The essence of being human is that one does not seek perfection."

Hey its Clive from twitter and yes I do agree. Some people are so self critical. I am a saxophonist musician at heart so it is actually part of my nature to try to perfect everything I do. I have had to learn with everything else I do to learn along the way. Bit like my new journey here on steemit. Although I want to be the best that I can and yes blogging is very new to me, I have chosen to get with the people that are more experienced than me and ask for help along the way.
