RE: Visiting my friend's Cockatoo for the first time. Birds either love you or hate you right away. This was entertaining so here's the funny overview.
I read up on the breed before I went to see Cookie, not a lot, just a little, I was hoping this bird would like me LOL - but characteristics vary from breed to breed, like with any animal.
I incl. the snippet from that blog post today to tie to my experience, maybe it will help someone else someday too!
