This Is What We Will Use To Build Our Homes. Mixing AirCrete!
It is too cold here to be doing this right now and many people have been sending me PM's and asking about this. So I was doing some research on AirCrete, as you can never learn enough about something and I want to learn as much as possible before it gets warm and we start doing our AirCrete houses.
I was on YouTube and found this and wanted to share. This I believe is a class that was done at DomeGaia in Hawaii. The video is a video from this YouTube channel.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq-IGc6whMZEKoH8rH9NRoA This is Deborah Cole's channel. Go check it out as she was in that class and has some more videos on AirCrete on this channel.
This makes 43 gallons of AirCrete and it is not really that hard to do. You can buy the equipment used for this process on the Domegaia website. http://www.domegaia.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html
If you buy the Little Dragon make sure in the memo you put Basics To Living Sent you and he will refund you 10% of the purchase price. This is for the Little Dragon fully assembled only, Yes, it costs 499.00 but it is the cheapest that you can find. I know I was looking for a long time and this is what I purchased along with the mixer and the bender.
When we start this I will be showing how we build the molds for our blocks and how we will make the rounded doors and window opening. I will go over this with you so you should be able to do this yourself of you wanted too. AirCrete is not only good for building houses but can be used for making patio pavers for a walkway or a larger sitting area.
It can be cut with woodworking tools as it is brittle and easy to cut, it will take 28 days to fully cure and then it is much harder than when it was first poured. It holds wall anchors well and will hold a shelf with quite some weight on it.
Here is our post of the Little Dragon making foam for the first time.
We went on to make a small batch of AirCrete after we got the foam generator dialed in on the right pressure setting and such. I tried to get that on video but the camera battery went dead on me. Do not worry you will see lots more of this on our blog. I just ask for a little patience as it is way to cold to try and do any of it right now.
I am getting impatient myself to do this as we have been working on doing this for about 2 years now. We did lots of research and searching it out on the internet. I have been talking to Hajjar at Domegaia about this for a while and I have got a lot of help from him. Like I said please be patient, we want to do this as bad as you want to know about it. From @basicstoliving to you we hope everyone has a good night/day, whatever it is in your neck of the woods.

Aircrete, hum gotta look it up. How is it used? Interesting product. 🐓🐓
You can use it for many things. We will be making blocks and stacking them to build a house. You and pour in the walkway molds and make walkways or make a patio. It has lots of uses and the great thing is you can get creative with it.

Awesome!! Thanks for the update, I will be watching...
The Little Dragon is what I came to as well. Did you see the one home with the greenhouse bathroom and the cool pavilion on the roof?
I am very interested to see when you make the forms, it is all new to me...
Yes, I saw that and it would be great for a single guy or a couple. In a family home, I guess it would work just have to add more domes. It is going to be interesting!
Yes, that is what I was thinking too...a pantry dome, a workshop dome, and then with kids you could make like one dome for a play/homeschool space with little bedroom domes coming off it, or one larger dome sectioned off inside into rooms
The possibilities are endless when not confined to right angles.
