Adventure In The Bink House
Our day consisted of making homemade chicken pot pir for dinner and an adventerous walk to the park as a family. Eric and I have lost 40 pounds total. 20 a piece since March of this year. We take walks to the park with the kiddos and we started cutting down on our portions. I have included my chicken pot pie recipe. It was a hit for the whole family!
Chicken Pot Pie
2 26 oz Cream of Chicken soup
6 Potoatoes peeled and diced
1 bag of Carrots peeled and diced
1 cup of water
1 can of Peas
3 Cups of Biscuit mix
1 cup of Milk
Add soup, potaotes, carrots peas, and water to a Large pan. Cook 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
Stir Biscuit mix and Milk in a bowl. Knead the dough with a floured counter top. Cut in half. Roll into 2 thin layers. Lay one in the bottom of a glass pan. The other thin layer will be for the top.
Pour mixture on top of thin biscuit layer. Add second thin biscuit layer to to of mixture. Cook in a preheated oven at 425 for 15 minutes! Serve.
After dinner we always take our walk to the park and leet our 3 year old run off energy for bedtime. Sometimes Eric does a Vlog which is pretty awesome. You can check him out @Binkley or @steemthat. We usually walk to 30 to 40 minutes which is 2 miles.
