On a hot, brain-melting day like today it feels good to look at pictures like this. It reminds us that seasons pass, and so do years, and so do out lives. And on a geological scale they are but a fleeting moment.

And so there it was, a winter night on a planet in the middle of endless space, the light of starts light-years away shining upon it.
