Pregnancy Update: 35 weeks, 5 days

We had an appointment with the midwife today. At the last one, she said my belly was measuring a little big, so she scheduled an ultrasound, which we did today. Maverick is actually measuring a little small. That's a good thing. It is better that he be a little small than be too big and have trouble during delivery. Everything looked perfect. He is very active, and his kicks are very strong (sometimes painful). He has several sessions of hiccups every day. We are in the last month. The countdown has begun. Just 4 weeks and 2 days until my due date! 😮 We are freaking out a little bit, but we are so excited and ready to meet our baby boy! 😍 ❤

Also, we met with a family doctor recommended to us by my chiropractor. He is very supportive of parents' choice when it comes to things like vaccines, so we feel comfortable having him as Maverick's doctor. I may even switch to him for my PCP.

The house still has a long way to go, but we are making progress. We have a backup plan to make room for Maverick in our current room, though, so that has taken some of the pressure off. We will get there. Everything is coming together, slowly but surely.
