A Portal To Another Dimension
Painted in 2015, I exhibited this in an exhibition in Dublin. For this piece I wanted to create a painting which resembeled a portal of some kind. A portal like that of stargate sg1 but based more on color theory paintings from the 60's and 70's.

Ive seen images of them on the internet but never new the name. They seem very interesting. I was experimenting with them before in animation for but didnt continue. I was using different colored layers of moire patters and animating them. |Its all very trippy. ha
I'm really fascinated by them! I don't really have a specific goal for using them (not YET!), but still, I just can't stop creating more and more variations of them. Maybe they trapped me in their hypnotising world :-D
