We are so often controlled by thing without recognizing the deeper reasons.
Making the comparison of financial independence being a fix like cigarettes is very introspective.
I guess if you have to have a fix. Being financially independent is not the worst.
Maybe finding where and what the greed represents... and you could find a balance of financial independence that doesn’t have its roots in greed.
