My problem was always more about getting my HUSBAND out the door on time. I finally gave up and we were just late whenever he was coming along. I could get myself and all five kids ready and out the door before he was ready.

Now that the kids are grown, we have a saying "Are you talking Mom time or dad time" whenever we schedule something or try to determine how long something will take! :)

Planning ahead is the key. I have six gazillion parenting tricks, but I think you covered most of my 'get out the door on time' things plus a few extras. It helped that we homeschooled, though, so we didn't have to get out of the house early most days!
