Birthday Feels

What an awesome weekend.

We didn't go anywhere overly remote or exciting. It was my birthday so I got to choose where we went. All I wanted was relaxation. So, we went to a nice campsite on Cowichan Lake. This lake is so beautiful. Clean, big, realtively warm, and so beautiful.

The campsites are spacious and relatively private. We brought everything we needed to make awesome food, relax, recharge, and celebrate:

No Caitycat's birthday is complete without craft beer! @mstafford picked these out while already drunk on Thursday night and he absolutely nailed it. They were all so delicious and satisfying while we sat on the beach.

We don't make a huge deal out of birthdays... just enough to make each other feel special and have some fun. My favourite thing about birthdays is that they stand as a wonderful reminder of all the fabulous people in my life. Everyone takes a moment to say hi and give warm wishes. It's awesome!

I'm pretty sure that 31 is going to be an awesome year. So far, so good!
