A busy fruit market in the night light.
Night markets are a unique attraction. Where the hustle and bustle of the day ends and the life of people comes to a close in the cool of the night. This bustling fruit market is a shining example of this. Rows of fruit shops, piles of fruits sparkling in colorful lights, and the hustle and bustle of buyers and sellers all combine to create a lively atmosphere. These markets sell a variety of products, including local fruits such as bananas, papayas, mangoes, and litchis (depending on the season). Vendors usually set up their stalls on the sidewalks or in vans under polythene or tin canopies. Here, haggling over prices takes place, which is a common sight in South Asian markets. Large wholesale markets like Dhaka's Karwan Bazar also come alive at night, where fruits and vegetables are unloaded from trucks and delivered to various locations. These markets are not only places for shopping, but also serve as centers of local culture and social interaction, where people meet for generations. These bustling night markets are an integral part of Dhaka or other cities in Bangladesh, proving that these cities truly never sleep.
