A strange and peaceful form of nature has emerged. A golden bullfrog or Indian bullfrog is sitting peacefully in a small hole in the mud with a little water. The yellow-green skin of the frog and the stripes on it have helped it blend in beautifully with the mud and the surrounding environment, which is basically a natural camouflage. Such scenes are often seen in our rural environment during the rainy season or in damp and wet weather. Since frogs are amphibians, they need water or wet soil to survive and maintain skin moisture. This frog in the picture has probably made this small body of mud its temporary shelter to escape the intense heat or wait for prey.

The role of frogs in our ecosystem is immense. They maintain the balance of the environment by eating insects and mosquitoes that harm crops. Therefore, they can be called the 'guardians of nature'. However, their natural habitat is rapidly being destroyed due to the filling of water bodies, excessive use of pesticides, and climate change. It is very important to protect the water bodies and natural environment around us to sustain these beautiful and beneficial creatures of nature.
