Snake shells are a wonderful and instructive example of nature. Snakes shed their old skin regularly and acquire new ones, which is called molting. Through this process, snakes not only ensure their own body growth, but also get rid of old wounds, parasites, and pathogens. Snake shells are usually seen in a continuous long shape, which looks like a whole snake lying on the ground.

Before molting, the snake becomes somewhat inactive, its eyes look cloudy, and its food intake is reduced. Then, it slowly sheds its old skin by rubbing itself against a tree trunk, rock, or elevated part of the ground. The shell seen in the picture proves that the snake has completed this process healthily and the environment is suitable for the snake to live in.

Although many in rural areas view snake shells as superstitious, it is actually a natural part of the balance and biodiversity of the environment. The snake's shell teaches us that letting go of the old and embracing the new is the way forward. This silent rebirth is a unique lesson from nature.
