It still comes down to communication. Neither party is a mind reader. We don't have a manual when we get married. And I am sure we all come to a marriage with preconceived ideas. I think in today's world, there is no such thing as men's work and women's work. We need to share the responsibilities. Traditional roles went out the window a long time ago.
I agree communication is key. We each have our strengths and weaknesses. If we can communicate to our spouses better then the home functions much better.
I'm sort of traditional. I like the roles. I don't want him in my kitchen or laundry room lol
And I do not want the responsibility of providing. I love being home and taking care of the family. I wish society was more like that still. But I know my thinking is old fashioned.
