My East Frisia

East Frisia is a place in the north of germany with more than 450.000 residents on 3140 square kilometers and my home. In my opinion it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. The nature there is incredible and the people are very lovely.
East Frisia consist of the four counties Aurich, Leer, Wittmund and Emden. East Frisia also included the six islands Borkum, Juist, Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog and Spiekeroog on the northsea. I have already written about Spiekeroog.
East Frisia impresses with its landscape.

It is characteristic of East Frisia that it is not dominated by on capital, rather by the four counties. For a long time, East
Frisia was characterized by fishing and agriculte. Today the tourists on the island and in the coastal areas are of great importance. Many small companies have settled in East Frisia and therefore they dominate in East Frisia. Businesses like Enercon have a great importance to the economy

East Frisia has developed quite independently outside of Germany. Connections to the netherlands also contributed to this. This is still evident today. East Frisia tries to promote their own companies as much as possible to not merge with companies outside of East Frisia. The low german language is still very present in East Frisia. More than 50 percent still speak the low german language there.

East Frisia is a very quiet place and perfect for relaxing. The people there are verx relaxed and hospitable. You should always be relaxed and friendly with a lot of humor when you are there. East Frisia is the perfect place to breathe some joy into your life.
