The water is still high in the rivers in The Morvan (Burgundy France), but the first signs of spring can also be seen.
Although it has not rained in the Morvan for a few days now, the water in the rivers is still high.
In our local river, the Ternin, the water is streaming extremely fast and it is mesmerizing to look at it.
The bridge over the Ternin is dangerous to pass. The water washes over the bridge regularly and the road surface is very slippery. The local authorities placed a sign to warn people of the danger.
The high water seeks an alternative route and uses streams that are otherwise dry.
But today the sun is shining and you can already feel the warmth of the sun on your body.
It will take a while, but spring will come!!

Yep, it's that time of the year again. Having lived close to the 'Loire' for 12 years, a lot of other streams and creeks were always overflooded (besides the Loire itself as well ofcourse). Farmers won't like it.
No, the farmers don't like it and neither do the cows. The beautiful Charolais cows are now mostly inside, but some are still outside.

In the US, winter is getting the whole East coast. Even North Florida was snowing lightly couple week ago.

It was sunny today, but next week they say there will be snow again. Spring comes in March, but till the beginning of May, there may be a little night frost.
I say on the news that there was snow in Florida. Strange for the inhabitants I think!

It is strange to see green grass. Here in Oklahoma, everything is brown. I like green better!
Here the grass is still green, it will become only brown/yellow in the summer when it's very dry weather.

It's not really spring, it was just a sunny winter day, but when the sun is shining it feels like spring, it even smells a little like spring and.... I saw a daisy in the grass. The flood is due to much rain lately, much much rain.

yes he is competely right fata is in pakistan its a tribel area and hahha no their is a little danger before but now a days its really peaceful beacuse the mind of the people is changing very quickly and they become very open minded my father is a very open minded he works for child rights human rights in pakistan and still on working!

It is so high because it has rained and rained and the soil is soaked with water and the water comes in the rivers and the water level rises.
