I feel your pain.
My girlfriend bought an Outback two years ago that has been a total nightmare for us. And we paid $150 to a Subaru dealer for a 150 point inspection, and they said it was a terrific car.
A new transmission, head gasket, and front and rear struts and rotors later...and our car is almost new!
Car problems blow!
They do :( Thats a bummer you even paid extra for an expection. It's sad that the car market is so shady like that. Sadly it seems we all need to know at least SOME things about cars otherwise we get screwed.
