I think what I find most unhelpful in times like these is unpointed criticism, because it shows you are upset but doesn't propose any sort of solution.

But I'm seeing those people (that know suffering firsthand) complaining less than anyone.

That's because suffering is a teacher, it shows us real gratitude for life. It broadens our perspective, so we can glean the beauty of strife.
