Why does life seem so hard sometimes?

I know well enough that life isn't always going to be easy, but why does it always seem like when it rains it pours. I have a lot of knowledge of self help and pulling myself up to levels that exceed even my own expectations, but somehow manage to slip into a funk that seems to be so bad at times. It's something I wanted to share bc i know that people everywhere go through with these ups and downs in life, I'm here to let you know that when times get rough like this, it's time to put feelings and thoughts aside, and take action.
