Where have I been?

I used to visit here daily, but haven't been around for quite a while. I can't believe that it has been two years now. What can I say? Life happens. I caught COVID and was affected for a month. It wrecked me. It also affected my brother (deafened him), and it led to the death of my mother last June. I turned 65, so I am now a "government employee."

One of the things that I posted 3 years ago was 44 Seconds of Alice. Last fall, Alice gained a sister, Sophie, and I visited them for a couple of weeks last October.
