What I Like About The Home Depot

A quote for the read:
"We can do the same job as everybody else. It just takes a little bit of extra time to accomplish our tasks."

Because I do a lot of handyman work, I make frequent trips to The Home Depot to get supplies. In those many trips, I’ve noticed that about half of the employees that work there have some type of disability, and I like that. From wounded veterans to autism, The Home Depot hires all. You don’t really walk in to any other places and see nearly half of the work force with disabilities. That’s why I like Home Depot. They hire a diverse group of people to work there, and it makes my experience even better. Every time I go to self-checkout, the attendant, who is someone who has a disability, always welcomes and talks to me. These employees love their jobs, it seems, and I personally think they do it the best.
Here’s a video I found demonstrating everything I just wrote about. It makes you feel good inside. :)
I'm a 16-year-old junior in high school. I've figured out that Steemit is a great way to express my feelings about certain topics and get paid for it! I like to start all my articles with a quote to get the reader to understand the 'feeling' of the article before they start reading it.
