While you cant be depressed
Depression is a hugely misleading word to describe what the condition can be like. Its more like a warping of reality where the smallest thing can trigger a huge bout of anxiety. Where negative thoughts become blown out of all proportion & positive thoughts are almost impossible to hold onto. While you never get ‘cured’ you learn to manage the condition until it only shows its face very occasionally & you can cope with it. One thing I would urge: life will become better, no-matter how unlikely this might seem at the darkest times. If things get really bad, don’t do anything crazy - suicide is a very permanent ‘solution’ to a temporary problem.
