I'm not really doing this for the money, however I think that's a fantastic quote regardless. Just in general, not necessarily regarding money, but anything you want to succeed with in life, I think serving the people will reap the strongest returns.
Alright, well enough of the philosophical talk. Let's get real and ready!
So, I started my Post Promotion Thread idea about 3 weeks ago. So far I have done about 1 per week. Just trying things out, and seeing where things can adapt from this point, but it seems to be growing nicely each and every week.
So I have been approached by a few people in the last bit of time wanting to partner up on things. There's just so much going on, it's tough to do it all!
It's nothing 100% certain yet (Then again, are things ever really?), but I have plans to build an alliance of good people. People who share my vision of serving others, and who are willing to put in the hours.
I want to build a strong connection-group. A group that people in-need can rely on to get them out of the slumps. Here on Steemit, it's an incredible atmosphere. There are some really nice people here. There are also new people coming in every single day. This is still the beginning!
I remember when I first joined, there wasn't really much help. There weren't many people who one could solidly turn to, to really get a boost of confidence in the correct direction.
For now, I want to progressively evolve my Post Promotion Threads into a place where people can feel welcome for self-promotion.
I think it's a great win/win:
- For me: I want to give my time to those in-need. My long-term vision here on Steemit is to serve the people. It's a bit of a different approach to what I am used to, but I need to get uncomfortable to grow!
- For you guys: Well, who doesn't want free promotion?!

Brother, I appreciate that. I am more motivated than ever right now to really give a solid contribution to this community. I am currently sitting with this vision in my head of assisting people in the correct direction in their lives. I think this platform has the potential to do far more than most expect right now.
I believe in the near future, this will be a very influential place. The word will spread, and I think have the right leaders from the ground up, leading by the correct example, and coming in with the right intensions, would really work wonders.

I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with chasing wealth, as wealth is great.. But I think life tends to give us not usually what we intend too :D So chasing wealth might not reap you wealth LOL.
Keep it up and give value, that's my understanding of life! Always give value and sooner or later you get something back but don't expect anything immediately.
