My observation having experienced what is like to just let it be is that this way we are more protected in the overall picture, we are healthier. But it is after all a personal choice and one that I think all men should experiment with to be able to call it an informed decision. Let all your hair grow for a year and you won't be the same, even if you end up deciding to shave regularly. Do it while you have hair.

Most men don't want facial hair. It's a personal choice.

Most?

Shaving is against the natural ordure of things.

You're entitled to your opinion. However, I don't agree. I enjoy a hot shave in the morning, and so do millions of other men.

Shave like a REAL man
(note: I done it, when I was not allowed to wear a beard.)

lol bush lover!

Disagree, imo this is a learned cultural behaviour pushed by strict workplaces trying to promote a specific image. So we started shaving to not be excluded from jobs.

Be free my beardy brothers, lol

I just like shaving. There is nothing that is stopping me from growing facial hair, but I just like the clean, smooth feeling on my face. It's become a part of my morning routine. Also, if I go more than 4-5 days without shaving I find that my face gets itchy.

Fair enough, but that itch passes once the hair grows :)

I didn't know that. Just out of curiosity, how long does it take for the itching to pass?

Honestly its been years since I've completely clean shaven, lately I just trim the excess. Last time I think the itch was only for a day or 2 max, and it massively helped by moisturizing .. Shaving actually sharpens the tip and leaves the follicle alone, and can shove the remaining sharp hair part into the skin for it to become an ingrown hair and really itch..

I'm just so glad I don't have to deal with this on the daily, all I really care about is not having a moustache :P
