Out of My Zone

Today I’m venturing wayyy out of my comfort zone.

You know those girls on car shows in their tiny vinyl hotpants and hooker heels, meant to lure in someone to buy new tyres? Or any convention where the girls working on the booths have a plastic smile on and don’t even know what the product is that they are there for. Today I’ll be that girl.

Well I won’t be wearing anything slutty, just jeans and a hoodie with the company logo on it, handing out flyers on a construction convention thingie. I know the company has something to do with roofs and that is it, and I don’t think I need to know more. I’m just meant to be walking around the convention hall handing out flyers.

I’m doing this as a favour and I’m not getting payed for it, so the motivation ain’t too high for the day. But apprently there is some interior stuff too so I might be able to have some eye candy while I work. And I do of course hope there is some hunky carpenters in there too.

Being in a situation where there are a lot of people, a lot of people I don’t know, and having to be the person that hands out those annoying ads to people that don’t want them, is basically my nightmare. But somehow I think I might do well with it, if I just get into the right zone in my head. Well it’s not like I can fail at this task, as long as I don’t hide somewhere, but you get what I mean. I used to work in customer service industry and while I despice most humans and serving them, I was really damn good at my job.

I already know that life doesn’t start outside of my comfort zone, so wish me luck that the day isn’t horrible. I’m going to go and put on some war paint to get me ready for the battle. Luckily the hoodie is red, that suits me.
