Great points. I took up yoga about a year ago in order to deal with anxiety and flashbacks. An abusive relationship left me with CPTSD and my doctor had recommended yoga and nature walks to train my mind into being in the present rather than obsess over the past or fear the future. Now, whenever a really difficult or ugly memory begins to rear up, I take several deep breathes and focus on the sensation of drawing in air and blowing it out softy.

Hello @florentina - thank you for sharing this as that is indeed very powerful! Amazing how much control we actually maintain by choosing to stay "out of our heads" and be present, just like you've learned.. Have you heard of the Headspace app? I use that, love it :) I wish you the best on your journey!
