This is tough quote because some people can interpret it in a wrong way. You can choose another direction, but you need to understand, whether this way will bring you positive results. You can just choose always opposite direction and expect to succeed in something.
True, you should of course choose the way you feel comfortable with. Just going the other direction won´t do the trick, go the one you feel good about ;)
