Today I am here with this Green colored plant, which resembles a cactus, but is a much valued medicinal plant!.

Yes my dear Friends.... This plant has got so many antiviral and antibacterial properties, along with it's moisturizing, soothing and cooling effects!!
It is known as a herbal medicine in Ayurveda, which has got the capacity to repair dead skin cells!!.
So when applied to the scalp and hair, it gives a relief from the itching, promotes hair growth, reduces dandruff, conditions hair by leaving it with a smooth and silky look...
Just take a leaf of Aloe Vera and take out the gel carefully with the help of a knife. Mix it with 2 drops of lemon juice and one teaspoon full of coconut oil.
Apply this to the scalp and hair and leave it for atleast 2 hours. Then wash it with a mild shampoo or soapnut powder. It works as a very good hair tonic and we can try this atleast once in a week.
This Aloe Vera gel can be applied directly also, without mixing it with Coconut oil and lemon juice.

I agree! Aloe Vera is one of my favorite medicinal plants, however, I did not know you could use it on the scalp that way. I would love to give that a try and see what the results are!
