RE: A Grandpa's Love: A Gift For My Granddaughter

in #life6 years ago

Hey, @curatorcat.

I'd be happy with peaceful resolution. Even an agree to disagree because we're family not mortal enemies would be okay, too. :)

I kind of get the idea that she didn't alway see eye to eye with her parents (imagine that), and that somehow, whatever they did wrong (her perception) every older adult is going to do. It's odd coming from a generation that's all about the flow to get such rigidity in thought, but here we are.

re: Pinky

A dog pony or pony dog. In some cases, it's hard to tell the difference. I've seen toys kind of like that. What's even stranger is, thanks to the string mouth, the plastic eyes and the white body, it has a Nightmare Before Christmas vibe to it. I showed it to my wife and she got scared. Not sure what she thought I was showing her (Hey honey, here's a mouse I found—want to see?).

re: future grandchild

That's just it. The oldest had us all by ourselves for a year and a half. No other grandchild will ever get that. And she's been heaped love upon and continues to get it. She's just too adorable not to. :)
