Wow this is the gift of traveling, do some things you actually didn't plan to do and gather some beautiful experiences.
Did they gather their knowledge about the culture at school?
Just by being locals, you just hear people around.
Hehe hearing other people is the best indeed. Did that with my last research about the canal too.
