The days working in DNA identification agent-----A lady had an affair

Hello, everyone. I worked as a DNA expert for 10 years to identify the DNA. The reason to do this job is pretty simple since my mom did kind of job also. The government open the DNA identification works to Third Party in May 2002, and my mom got her job at the very second year as the earliest batch in China.

I came to the my mom’s agent to work after I graduated from medical major. I witnessed numberless unbelievable affairs during passed 10 years, some of them are more astonishing than Soap opera on TV.

I got a data which shows that I involved 10000 cases, and 26-29% results are ‘negative’ averagely for each year, which means, you are right, 1/4 of those kids were not biological. Without any exaggeration, there were 2 thousand of families were broken when seeing the tiny certificate paper.

There was a ‘routine’ question friends like to ask in each party, that is, is it the hell true that one lady brought two man to identify her son but finally found neither of them was his father and there was forth person out there?

I answered yes with a scornful smile, but they responded with a amazed look, and I continue to say, there are plenty of dog-blood affairs you guys never heard!

I’d like to begin with a short but weird one which happened fours years ago. The client was a girl, and I still remember her info, that the age is 23, and she was so charming ,with big eyes, long eyelash, fair skin, that looks like a super-star, she looks very adorable even through only like 1.6 meters tall.

She was a casual girl, and just asked me straightly that how to do the paternity test without notifying the suspect. I told her that we need something like nail or blood, if hard to get, it’s OK to bring some cigarette ends with saliva or used chewing gum. Several days later, she brought a little girl like 2-3 years old with round face and big eyes just like her. She wasn’t naughty and giving a toy ball was enough to comforted her.

Couple of days later, the result come out and unexpectedly showed that both of bearers of two bunch hair were not the kid’s father. To be frank, both of us were surprised by the result, but I can not ask any questions since it’s her privacy.

Approximately two week passed, the same lady come again with another one bunch of hair. This bearer is exactly the father. The lady can not believe at the first sight of the certificate, she suddenly burst into tears after confirmed again and again. I have to tried to comfort her just like to other clients. The question she asked shocked me, that is, doctor, are cousins are ‘close relatives’ , and the kids they have will be defective?

Form time to time, a DNA identifier have to play the role of psychological counselor, therefore I think hard and spent plenty of time to comfort her and suggested her to bring the child to make an examination in big hospital just in case of anything. She was still crying when leaving.

Unfortunately, The story I am telling here is real story instead of novel or fiction. I never saw this lady again and have no any clue how’s things going on with her.

General speaking, there are tons of this kind of thing I experienced during my passed 10 years career.

OK, let’s keep going to talk about weird stories.

First a man then a lady.

We just call the man man-A. He is the suckest person I ever meet. What he did changed the regulations of our agent, and I can say that our working conditions were totally changed by this guy, though we can not treat this change as bad thing. However, all things changed only because of this person, is a kind of entertainment and annoying.

Our working environment was pretty easy and everybody just do his job before man-A came, that is, once there was a client , receptionist go to receive and follow the procedure, that’s it. It was the second half year of 2009, my colleague did the job for him, and I didn’t involved in any procedure. One thing I remember was that my colleague greeted me when pass me after the result come out. One man ought to be very angary if acknowledged that the kid is not his son, but the weird thing was that he was happy and almost laughed. We didn’t have any clue why’s that. I met so many weirdos after did this job, thus this was not that much strange for me. I minded my own job then forget this matter gradually.

Ten days later, a disaster was approaching.

A young beautiful lady came to our agent, just call her lady-B, to make troubles, and she cried and claimed that we are criminal abettor until our director showed up and appeased her. The true story she told us was kind of shocking. The material used to identify brought by man-A was not his, but B’s husband’s. The man-A crushed into her, and routinely harassed her. Man-A learned from somewhere that the she had an affair and the her kid’s blood father was not her husband. Therefore, the man-A took material from the kid and lady-B’s husband to verify. The result was ‘negative’ as I said previously which proved that she had an affair. He then took this to threaten her and had sex with her, guess what, the lady-B have no choice to agree. Man-A is so greedy that he wants not only the ‘body’ but also the money. The lady-B had enough with it, and came to make troubles, since finally learned from him that the identification work was done here in our agent.

To be honest, it was our fault that not to verify strictly. So, we have to arrange someone to warn the man-A that if he bother lady-B again, we will report to police officer and we also made some compensation to her. This matter comes to the end like this finally.

Each of employee in our agent was punished because of this matter, and the director retired ahead of schedule. The regulation was modified that if the material handed in was not personally he has to provide some proofs, which proves that indeed the client is close relative or represents police office document.

By the way, the lady-B was good at deal with social relationships through immorally had an affair and , and she often has heart-to-heart talks with our director. My guess why she doing this only because she afraid of this matter being spread out. This matter was slowly forgotten and the man-A never come back again to bother lady-B. Maybe her husband is aware of nothing until now. What a poor man! We can not think too much about this kind of matter and the only thing we got do is to keep silence.
