The plant in this picture is called Kenaf. The origin of this plant is Africa, and it is mostly found in the Sudan region. At present, in Bangladesh, this plant is being cultivated experimentally and commercially in different areas, especially in jute-producing regions. This plant looks quite similar to the jute plant, but its leaves are slightly different.

There are many differences between the leaves of the jute plant and the kenaf plant, as well as between their leaves and flowers. This plant usually grows two to four meters tall, and its leaves are divided into three to five lobes. The flowers are generally yellow or light pink in color, with a dark purple spot in the center.
