The Ka’aba: The house of ALLAH; MAKKAH
In the Province of Hijaz, the western part of Arabia, not far from the red sea, there lies the town of MAKKAH. Since time immemorial, this town and this stone built house has been known to world travelers. This is Baitullah, The House of ALLAH. Its sanctity and antiquity is older than history itself. The QUR’AN contains several verses regarding the origin of the Ka’aba. It state the ka’aba was the first House of worship, and that it was re-built by Ibrahim and Ismail on ALLAH’s instruction.

The first Urban Element introduced by Prophet MUHAMMAD (peace and blessing of ALLAH be on him) to the city of MADINAH was the MOSQUE institution which functioned as a community development center. The Original prophet himself, next to the house where he settled after his Hijrah (emigration) to MADINAH. It was an open-air building with a raised platform for the reading of the Holy QUR’AN. The MOSQUE was built with palm trunks and mud walls.

Masjid Al-Aqsa: Jerusalem

Faisal MOSQUE in Pakistan is the biggest MOSQUE of south Asia and the sixth largest MOSQUE in the world with covered area of 5,000 square meters (54,000 square feet), and room for containing as many as 300,000 worships in its main prayer hall, porticoes, courtyard and adjoining grounds. It is considered as the National MOSQUE of Pakistan. Shah faisal MOSQUE Remained the biggest MOSQUE in the world from 1986 to 1993.
MOSQUE of Muhammad Ali Pasha: Cairo
The citadel of Saladin – and indeed, the Cairo skyline – is dominated by the Albaster MOSQUE, or MOSQUE of Muhammad ali. Modeled along classic Turkish lines, it took 18 years to build (1830-1848) although late the domes had to be rebuilt. It was commissioned by Muhammad Ali, Ruler of Egypt from 1805-1849. With its animated silhouette and twin minarets, it is the most visible MOSQUE in Cairo. It was designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq.

Qolsarif MOSQUE: Russia
The Qolsarif/Kul Sharif MOSQUE, Kazan Russia, Locate in Kazan Kremlin, was reputed to be the Largest MOSQUE in Russia, and in Europe outside of Istanbul. Originally, the MOSQUE was built in the kazan Kremlin inn 16th Century. It was named after Qolsarif, who served there. However in 1552, Ivan the terrible stormed the city destroyed the monumental MOSQUE. Following the fall of the Soviet Union, the MOSQUE was rebuilt, albeit in a modern style.
Shaikh Zayed Grand MOSQUE: Abu Dhabi
This architectural work of art is one the world largest MOSQUE, with a capacity for an astonishing 40,000 worshipers. It features 82 domes, over a 1,000 columns, 24 carat gold gilded chandeliers and the world largest hand knotted carpet. The main prayer hall is dominated by one of the world largest chandeliers. The MOSQUE first ceremony was the funeral of its namesake, Shaikh Zayed, who is buried at the site.

The Sultan Ahmed MOSQUE or Sultan Ahmet MOSQUE is a historic MOSQUE located in Istanbul, Turkey. The Blue MOSQUE, as it is popularly known, was constructed between 1609 and 1606 during the rule of Ahmed I. Hand-Painted blue tiles adorn the MOSQUE’s interior walls, and at night the MOSQUE is bathed in blue as lights frame at the MOSQUE five main domes, six minarets and eight sub domes.

The sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid, also Known as the grand MOSQUE of Cotabato, is the largest MOSQUE in the philiphines. The MOSQUE is located in Barangay Kalanganan in Catabato city. Adorned with four tall spires or minarets in the major corners of the main chamber; domes crowned with crescent of the main and floors crafted with Islamic designs; and array of stunning arches.
Hassan II MOSQUE: Morocco
The Hassan II MOSQUE or Grand MOSQUEe Hassan II is a MOSQUE in Casablanca, Morroco. It is the largest MOSQUE in Morroco and the 13th largest in the world. Its minarets are the world tallest at 210 meters (689 feet). Completed in 1933, it was designed by Micheal Pinseau and built by Bouygues. The minaret is 60 stories high topped by a laser, the light from which is directed towards MAKKAH. A maximum of 105,000 worshippers can gather together for prayers.
