Failure teaches more than success
When it works, all you get is a sense of pride and happiness. As you fail, you learn many things. About willingness, about the mistakes you make to get that failure, about the effort that sometimes less than the maximum. Lots of factors trigger failure. And you who fail, will gain more experience, than sadness.

Failure can be a great teacher but one has to be open to learning from it. Failure from calculated risk is the best teacher because you have a metric in place from the beginning by which to measure success. You should also be prepared for failure and only risk what you can afford to lose. Only then will you be able to learn the most experience from your experience and live to fight another day.
