Steemit and a little fish.

in #life6 years ago

I’m just a couple of days new in Steemit community and it feels like a new world is opening up. I read up, analyze, put things together, evaluate, read more, I really like my new possibilities! Steemit gives me a lot of chance to grow. In many different ways.

I have reacted upon one thing. It is many out there complaining of the small payment they get, even if they consider them selfs working hard.

I would like to share with you a small episode in my life about 4-5 years ago. I hade then moved back to my homeland Sweden after living in China for 9 years. It was a fantastic time of my life in China, but some things and coincidences made me quite week, sad and exhausted. I decided to move home.

This particular day I visited a beach at a small lake in the area where I wanted to settle down. It was a very hot day and the water was shallow at that beach. Suddenly I saw a small fish layin at is side, the water wasn’t deep enough for it to swim and it lay by it side with half the body over the water line. It was alive but if nothing happened it will die.
I just had to try to save it.

It was a Bass, a newly borned. I took it into my hand, stepped out some meters into deeper water.

I lowered the fish into the water holding I gently in my hand. It didn’t move. After a while I understood the water was far to hot. The differens between the temperature this fish normally is living in is below 20 degree Celsius, and where I found it it was about 30. I decided to walk out much farther into very deep water. I went out, the water almost reaching my nose and the temperature stared to feel cold. I held out my hand in front of me watching the little fish floating. I waited and suddenly I could see it moved a little. And yes, it started to swim and I let it go out of my hand.

I returned to the beach, some people standing there , ( my naighbours to be, I didn’t know then), asked me what I was doing. I told them I saved I fish life. - But you where out ther for more than 20 minutes! Yes i replyed, it took that long time to make it happen.

I live by that lake today and I can watch it from my window. I go down there almost every day and mostly the fish gets into my mind. It might sound a little wired but each time I feel great full.

For me doing good is number one. Money will always follow, how much, is depending on what you expect.

For me Steemit is a great chance to create goodness, creat together, get god friends and feel happy. Money will for sure follow, I have no clue how much or when, but it is secondary.

I wish you all a Steemy and Happy New Year!

Best regards

Thank you! I beleive 2018 will be great for both of us

I agree good energy attacts more good energy. The world is but a reflection of ourselves and how we see things and how we feel, so we should choose to do good!

Happy New Year! 🎆🎈🎊

Welcome to steemit. I think you would do great in the SmartCash community also, where we help each other and share value. The people who think of money as secondary, are those who deserve the highest reward ;-).

Hi and a big thank you. I will for sure look into your advice @smartbot. Happy New Year!
