Our life and winters.
Winter not only brings hardships for people, but it also creates serious health problems. During this season, many people experience deterioration in their health, especially the elderly, who are more susceptible to the harshness of winter. A huge number of people lose their lives during this time, and for a common man, the exact reasons often remain unknown. There may be medical explanations behind it, but the winter season often feels like a period of grief for a large population here in our valley.
This winter again, many people have lost their lives, unlike the summer season when we rarely hear about such frequent deaths. It seems as if winter worsens existing health issues. Even before the season begins, people start worrying, especially those who have elderly family members at home. Winter always brings concern and anxiety along with it.
Just a few days back, my father and I visited one of our relatives who wasn’t feeling well. This morning, we heard that he has left for his heavenly abode. As that news spread, we also received another heartbreaking update about a neighbour who passed away due to health issues.
No doubt, people try to prepare themselves for such situations before winter arrives. Still, there are natural causes that claim more lives during this season. I can count many people I personally knew who lost their lives this winter alone. The cycle seems to continue year after year.
Now that winter is nearing its end, I hope that no more lives are lost before it finally bids farewell.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
