Oh my gosh @troubledsoles, I missed this when you first posted it. It is amazing that you came through that near-death experience intact and with your whole life ahead of you, and a new outlook on life. I know it’s not easy to have something like this alter your life course. It’s so great that you see the positive life lessons and that gratitude wins over self-pity.
