It looks like winter isn't over for Texas after all.

Last week I posted that it seemed like winter was just about done around here.

The temperatures had risen back up to the 50s and 60s and everyone was feeling like we were about to have a early summer again.

Then yesterday we were told that there was a cold front coming.

It wasn't a standard type of cold front where you wake up in the morning and it's cold outside.

It was the unusual type that happens during the day.

When I woke up this morning it was about 50 degrees outside.

It's currently 41 degrees outside.

The wind is blowing incredibly hard.

The weather forecast says that we're heading towards 28 degrees within the next few hours.

It's supposed to be 20 degrees tomorrow from what I understand.

No one here is pleased about that.

We don't like winter in Texas.

We don't know what to do with it.

It's even supposed to snow in a few hours.

When I was a kid I was thrilled about the idea of snow.

Now it's just something that can make you wet and more cold.

Something that you have to drive through that can possibly make the streets slippery and difficult to get to work.

Maybe I've lost the ability to see things in a positive way when it comes to winter.

It looks like winter isn't over for Texas after all.
