The Rider

So here I am, sitting at one of the cafes in Amsterdam after some quality movie time alone, thinking about things that I learned from one of the movies that I just watched-The Rider.

Okay, so I decided to watch a movie by myself after some nice lunch. When I walked into the Pathe City, all I saw was movies in 3D etc and OOOOOOOOMFG THE AVENGER INFINITY WAR IS RELEASED IN THE CINEMA ALREADY, soooooo MOVIE FOR THE NEXT ROUND WITH OPPA <3 it's been a while since I watched a nice movie with oppa in the cinema so I kinda want a movie date soon. Take note, okay? 😉🤣

Back to the movies selection, I tried to choose one close to the time slot I was in the cinema just now and there were two options for me: Finding your feet and The rider. Finding your feet sounded like "HAPPY FEET" to me honestly 🤣 (or at least that was my first thought coming to my mind HAHAHAH) so I skipped that one and looked into the details of The Rider movie through the Almighty Google. To my surprise, I found the rating for the movie was pretty high! It got 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, 76% on IMDB and even 92% on Metacritic.

And so, I ended up stepping into the cinema to watch the movie without knowing that it ended up with soooooo many elder people. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA omg I should take the pictures and I honestly think that I was the only youngster in the cinema hall for that movie 🤣🤣🤣 okay probably because the time slot that I picked was the lowest peak moment since most people had to deal with work and school, except me the freeeeeee bird 🤣🤣🤣

Basically, the summary of The Rider is about the young gentleman named Brady Blackburn struggling to find a new life purpose after an incident that caused him everything to not being able to become Rodeo yet the hope that he has didn't stop him to break through the impossible.

From the movie, one thing that I have learned and it made me realised who I am in some ways is how stubborn or you can say I am just a person with strong faith and that's what kept me going in life to achieve what I want even though how hard it can be. Funny right? I guess I am just a person that doesn't know the definition of giving up and always believe in strong faith will break through the limit in life and allow me to go beyond, to become stronger than ever. I just want to strike to be different, my own inspiration for everything in life. I am getting there and I am sure time will be my favour for this part.

Next post will be something that is related to one of the biggest festivals I celebrated in the Netherlands with my boyf and also friends :) take care!
