Military Police Working Dogs Training Exercise
The military police working dogs of the 520th Military Working Dog Detachment, 728th Military Police Battalion, 8th Military Police Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command took on rough terrain earlier this month in an early morning PT Session. Along side their trainers, the K-9's tackled steep terrain and several obstacles at the local training area at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The training builds the K-9's confidence and esprit de corps between them and their trainers in preparation for future deployments.
Also includes video of the Military Working Dog Memorial located on Schofield Barracks. While the area does not contain any remains of military working dogs, tombstones honor those who have served the detachment.
