Latin on Steem

Salve, sum Juliux.

I like Steem. And I like Latin. And since I am out of school I translate way not enough Latin into German (and from there into English)

So I will start a new series where I show a text, translate it and then give a little bit of background information on top.

I think this could lead to some interesting posts.

What do you think? Is there any benefit in knowing a dead language?
