How My Family Was Catfished!

is the animal that lied to us. she made us believe she had a perfect life, owned land, shelters, and multiple businesses. It all started when WESLEY state she was going to open a GUNSHOP in Laramie, WY. And was in need of a manager, My wife having manager experience immediately commented on the post stating that she can do it, within minutes WESLEY messaged her on facebook about the position and how it would be a salary Position offering $80k a year plus benefits! She even sent us photos of the House she was offering us for 2 years FREE! Told us not to worry about moving expenses because she would give us $7,000 to get us started. Gave my wife a manager position and wanted to meet up so we can sign her contracts for my wifes supposed $80K a year salary. Opening date was set for June 15th, She even offered her SUV untill we could find one we wanted to buy in Laramie. We were first introduced to the whole idea 2 months prior, and for that whole month of MAY, we started preparing to move, we sold and donated about 80% of our kids toys. We even donated our TV's, BEDS, TABLES, COUCHES, AND DISHES. We were so excited to move and start a new wealthier life. I quit my job as a self employed graphic designer, and was planning on looking into new ventures with my photography in the Colorado area, My wife left her job as Store Team lead for 9 yrs at Walgreen's, thinking that she would be at a new better job making awesome money, we were supposed to meet with the BLAIRS numerous times to finalize and sign the contracts, but every time something crazy would happen (Grandpa hurt, Wes fell down, Had to meet for Olympics) Yeah i forgot to mention she is also supposed to be shooting for USA at RIO16.
WHEN IT GETS REAL: As soon as June 1st comes so did the first strike of BAD NEWS. We received a text from wesleys husband and her self, stating
(Hey were have some bad news, the state of Wyoming has revoked our FIREARMS permits, and everything is at a temporary halt)???
OK thats fine, they assure its only a small hiccup and that WESLEY is at the airport this very moment and flying down to WYOMING to kick some butt and get this straightened out! Yeah big joke, all we hear back the next day is (I cant believe there doing this to us, there completely shutting us down!) WOW ummm whats gonna happen to US, OUR FAMILY???!!! Immediately after the bad news, we ask whats going to happen with us, can we still move out there? We need somewhere to go, we had already explained to our current landlord we were soon moving and let the electric company know the same as well. we knew we didn't have much time to stay around since everyone was expecting us to leave. We never got the $7000 promised to us before we moved, so we started to run very low on expenses.
We just paid off what we owed on our leased car, and taken care of my wifes debt so we can completely start fresh when we move and begin this NEW LIFE! We had planned, Only problem is that we have almost NO MONEY LEFT!! We continue to contact WESLEY for updates and she advises us to contact her husband NICHOLAS BLAIR. he states that he has a friend with a NICE place in HAMILTON and a job for my wife that pays $16/HR as a paralegal. We thought GREAT! Lets get this ball rolling? well it was a friday and Nick stated that the Lawyer in need of help (BETH) would get in contact with my wife on the following Monday due to it being the weekend. No problem we thought, and he stated that his friend with the house in Hamilton would do the same.
MONDAY CAME - We got no call from BETH, but we did get a message from a TIM ZOOLK over the weekend, who introduced himself as NICKS friend and stated that he did indeed have a house for us in HAMILTON we can temporary stay in for the time being. FIRST HINT WE SHOULD HAVE NOTICED - TIM states that he will be going to the residents and making sure the previous tenants (he for got to mention to us) were for shure leaving that same week, he then messages us stating that the previous tenants completely trashed the residents and its going to be a couple days before we can move in!! Now at this point we started to get very couscous as there was a weird pattern starting to make a appearance. TUESDAY has arrived and still no call from BETH the lawyer and TIM says the cleaning people and repair guys are finishing up! We ok great hopefully BETH calls soon and we can move into the new place the next day, things started to kinda look again right? TIM ZOOLK goes MIA!! no contact from TIM or BETH for the entire rest of the week! WESLEY is stating she has been trying to get a hold of both parties, that this not like them. They should have contacted us back by now! She cant believe this is happening, she is so sorry she is going to figure this thing out! we patiently waited for to long! 1 more week went by, i was calling my landlord trying to explain the situation, they gave us more time. the electric company pushed back the shut off after i called them and explained what is going on, BOTH tell us if were there one more whole month we would have to PAY (of course) its understandable, we nervously comply. I tell my wife I guess TIM is screwing us over! maybe BETH found someone else? I let WESLEY know the same thing and she says I cant believe this! WE FINALLY ASK WESLEY TO HELP WITH THERE MESS! this is when we start to see the real mess behind the gates. NICK messages me on FB for the first time, states (IM GONNA BE HONEST) oh man . . . Now NICK says that he and his wife have been struggling as well and they have been living check to check, lost the shelters and there on the verge of selling one of there restaurants and are no longer going to open the supposed new restaurant they were building in HOLLAND, So they cant help us at all with money but there trying to find us some housing and a job since everything they had for us before has fallen through. WOW I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! Thats the moment i started to realize this was probably never real from the BEGINNING! i told him why cant we just move still and figure it out while were in Laramie, Wes already offered us 2 years free of rent, whats the difference. NICK says thats a good idea let me ask WES. WESLEY states that they actually let a person move in there that was in the same situation as us but they already live in LARAMIE????? Okayyyy . . . . WOW! WESLEY then states BUT! i have a aunt in Boulder if your willing to move there i know her son is moving out soon and she will have some room for you guys! Let me ask and ill get back to you guys! NEXt DAY MY ELECTRICITY GETS SHUT OFF! the electric company Puts a shut off notice on my door and there demanding the new months bill along with the current bill??? I INFORM NICK AND WESLEY OF THE SITUATION even send them a photo of the shutoff notice! ALLI GET IS A SORRY, (IM CRYING OVER HERE FOR YOU) (WESLEY) I just wanna scream and say shut the F**k UP!! I REPLY: YOU GUYS NEED TO FIX THIS! she then avoids the subject with some Random good news (OH MY AUNT SAID YOU GUYS CAN MOVE IN!) It worked . . We started asking questions about DATE, how erw we gonna get there, we started planning on selling the car. MY GRANDMA WANTED TO BUY IT. So I made arrangements with her on that end. We felt like we were set again, almost like wow im glad there fixing this! WESLEY even went as far as telling my wife she even found her a job starting at $15/hr Working as a Trimmer in a medical shop! My wife was very intrigued with the new job i was happy we had a place to go, BUT we wanted to handle it different this time! I told wesley we will not follow through unless she can provide a LEASE and some pictures of the residents. She stated that was fine and sent the photos with a hour or so later, Was a coincidence that she happened to be at her aunts house that day?? We planned on a meeting for WEDNESDAY June 25th, 2014. I told WESLEY this is the last time , we dont have anymore time for cat and mouse, we have too meet by FRIDAY latest. If for some reason anything comes up on her end that made it so we couldnt meet. We would just forget about the whole move and everything and just go seperate ways, and I will begin handle things my way! GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? Wed: HER dad was her ride and he had to work. THURSDAY and FRIDAY she went completely MIA! I called from a California number so she would suspect it was me calling. When she answered the phone i asked (Hey WES what happened? We were supposed to meet friday? SHe just said, I'm just doing what you asked? then hung up the phone! WOW!
PLEASE PEOPLE DONT TRUST ANYONE OVER FACEBOOK! EVEN YOUR OLD SCHOOL FRIEND(LIKE THEY WERE)
PEOPLE ARE ANIMALS AND THERE ARE MORE NICK AND WESLEY BLAIRS OUT THERE! SUCKS BAD THAT I HAD TO LEARN THIS WAY, BUT THE THING THAT BOTHERS ME THE MOST IS HOW MUCH THEY AFFECT NOT ONLY MINE, BUT MY CHILDRENS LIVES AS WELL! I REALLY THOUGHT DADDY WAS FINALLY GONNA GET HIS BABYS GIRLS A PONY! I HOPE YOU GUYS CAN HELP US, GET BACK ON OUR FEET AND GO AFTER THE BLAIRS LEGALLY! WOW GOING THROUGH ALL THE SCREEN SHOTS, AND WE STARTED TALKING TO THEM ABOUT THIS SINCE FEBRUARY!!! THEY TRIED DEACTIVATING THERE FACEBOOK ACCOUNTS BUT THE MESSAGES AND THERE NAME STILL SHOWS!
Im happy to have found my fellow STEEMERS and finally able to vent about this event in my familys life!
Were still struggling just got hopefully my last court paper YEAH they been garnishing my Fiances checks for a while now.
Paying off debts when you have no income is not a good idea!
