Take action

Many of us don’t take action on our goals. There are many reasons for this, but ultimately we can usually head in the right direction regarding our goals if we break it down into steps.

Stop Worrying

When we worry about everything and overthink things we only distract ourselves from the result we are working towards. This leads to us being further from our goals than we would like. Worrying about things often doesn’t even help considering many of the things we are worried about won’t happen.

Don’t delay

We often make excuses for why we are delaying a specific task. Whether we feel more preparation is required or we see other reasons to wait. Most of the time the extra preparation won’t help us at that point. And we’ll be stuck with the same result regardless of whether we do more to prepare or not. Often jumping in sometimes even head first is the best route to getting what we want.

Often, we take action too late then we blame our delay for the failure of our goals.

Baby Steps

Most of us can at least take baby steps, no matter our given situation at the moment. Towards our end goal. Many of our daily habits compile into what we become down the road. Those small things were eventually adding up to larger things. Don’t underestimate the small things you do every day. Even just ten minutes of extra work each day can mean the difference between success and failure at what we want.

Learn to approve yourself: Are you often convinced yourself that what you do is not a precaution? If you have this bad habit, you will not notice that you are a Nobel prize winner or a gardener.

In order to reverse this destructive tendency, you must determine your thoughts. Write down your expressions against yourself, in the face of expressions you approve of yourself. For example, you could wash dishes and wash it with anyone. But do not forget that you deserve the reward for doing this boring job! @kaylinart

Anxiety only slows us down. If we have a goal, if we have a plan, we will have a successful result if we believe we will. There is no reason to reverse that.
And we have to do it all right. FULL PLACE, FULL TIME!

Action does not always bring success, but there is no success without action @kaylinart

Thank you @kaylinart

Yes! Heehehe Baby steps help a ton.

Life is running fast and the best time to start doing what you want to do is "right now."Just start somewhere. No matter where, but do it now.
Those who are working for others or who are their own bosses, lovers or lovers, artists, scientists, busy people, and those who do not separate their eyes from the clock ... but most passionate ... There is no benefit to wait. Begin to move on. TAKE ACTION...

I think you're right about taking baby steps. Taking small steps stops us from becoming overwhelmed and intimidate by the task at hand.

When I am not feeling optimistic, or things seem too hard, I follow one rule: make life just a tiny bit better. I don't have to solve the entire problem. I don't have to fix my it all today. I just have to try to improve the situation a little bit. Approaching life and goals in this way makes it that much more manageable.

Also, you mentioned not delaying. I also think this is very important. We always assume there will be more time, but one day our time might run out. That's why taking small consistent steps each and every day is vital.

Thanks for sharing your writing! Have a wonderful day!

Overthinking will definitely hinder you from accomplishing things.

I have always been one to overthink my fitness videos and my body - now I just upload my videos no matter what I look like. I've been making a lot of progress online now that I just DO IT.

Exactly! Wow! You are like that too? I get so nervous recording myself. I'm glad you just post them anyways <3

I am 100% like that, so I avoid rewatching my stuff because it would literally NEVER post it!

And thank you so much ❤️

Hello @kaylinart! This is really a great start to my morning (here in the country). A healthy reminder to achieve a lot of progress. I just want to share a bit on the topic.

Stop Worrying

I worry a lot. It may sound very opposite but I'm an optimistic worrier. Uhmm, let's just put it in this way. Well, I tend to worry at the onset, and then I'll be able to calm myself and trust that there will be a positive outcome.

Stop delaying

Analysis paralysis tends to really cripple our progress. Sometimes, we just need to take the leap.

Baby steps

I've been consistently doing baby steps since day 1, and I'm happy with a short distance I made. Not much of a huge achievement, but at least I need to travel less distance to reach the finish line.

There, thank you so much! I was able to reflect on the advice you gave. Have a nice day!
