Tips To Find Inner Peace
Tips to find inner peace
Do you feel that your life is an endless race, that your minds chatter is unstoppable? Do you have this urge to do something, change something, chase something an urge that comes back as soon as it goes back away causing you restlessness? What is this thing that destroys your inner peace? The human mind is a wonderful thing. It helps us function in this world and if we know how to deal with it, we can get a whole new experience of life.
Our brain is like problem solving machine. It uses the mind in order to think of ways to make our life better and the mind works non-stop, it's always busy. We tend to complain about this endless stream of thoughts but a mine is just doing it's job. Once the mind sees that everything is okay, it comes up with another idea to improve the current situation then a thought suddenly appears but there is something in our life that can be better than it is.
The problem starts when we look at this thought and resonate with it. We start to think that something is actually missing in our life, there is an actual problem that something bad is happening. Unless we solve this problem we can not live in peace but as soon as this problem is solved another problem pops up and we have to take care of it before we can feel peaceful again. You can probably think about something your reality that you would change or make better.
Do you feel that if it changes everything will be okay? Trust your mind that it will come up with another problem. If you didn't have a house you would think, if I only had a house everything would be fine. If you didn't have friends you would think, if I only had someone to talk to or hang out with, my life would be perfect and so on. You can never be satisfied this way. When we resonate with our thoughts, we become passive letting mind lead us wherever it decides to go. It's like to be on a boat and just let the wind take us to the direction it blows. However, if we want to get somewhere, we can decide to be active and sail the wind keeps blowing, the waves are there too but we are doing our own thing. We can release our mind let it do its job just observe without resonating.
Whenever our mind comes uo with a new idea, instead of seeing it as a problem feel bad about it. We can decide to look at it as a nice suggestion to improve something in our life. We understand that there is always something to improve therefore we shouldn't let it bother us. We are whole and complete as we are right now. We already have everything we need, the rest is a bonus. Once you let go of the emotional attachment to your thoughts, you find inner peace.
