Suicidal Thoughts

in #life7 years ago

Hello Beautiful People,

I was seating here getting a text to my phone and all I could do was think of myself in a situation like this/putting myself in this person shoes. Beautiful women, handsome men, old lady, grumpy men, and little children are now having more suicidal thoughts or attempting/committing suicide more than ever.

Growing up there was never many stories making headlines of children, or anybody for that matter, committing suicide. When I hear or see this on T.V. it breaks my heart.

People on this earth need to know that suicide is the one sin that you can not ask God for forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 (NIV) says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." It states WE have to confess for our sins, not mom, dad, sister, brother, or friends but yourself. So, if you commit suicide then you can not ask God to forgive you of your sins to be purified to spend the rest of your life in heaven.

Satan is out here to kill, steal and destroy, and if he can get you to do a task that he doesn't have to do himself than, he will do just that.

He has accomplished more than you ever know. Satan does not want ANYONE to make it to heaven because he can not go back (Revelation 12:7-12).

People have to realize their value of there life, who they belong to (God), and they are worth it.

Know that taking your life over whatever the situation is, is NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE!

Suicide is deeper than just a thought, its a spiritual, mental, and a physical problem. And if he/she doesn't have someone or somewhere to talk about whatever is causing them to have this thought he/she will feel like they don't have any other choice.

The AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) states:

  • Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US
  • Each year 44,965 Americans die by suicide
  • For every suicide 25 attempt
  • Suicide costs the US $69 Billion annually

Also AFSP states...

  • The annual age-adjusted suicide rate is 13.5 per 100,000 individuals.
  • Men die by suicide 3.57x more often than women.
  • On average, there are 123 suicides per day.
  • White males accounted for 7 of 10 suicides in 2016.
  • Firearms account for 51% of all suicides.
  • The rate of suicide is highest in middle age — white men in particular.

When I read these facts from AFSP all I could say was

I was completely speechless, no words could fabricate out of mouth. All I could do was pray for these people families and friends.

I think about it everyday. Its hard enough being average. But to be born with a terrible disease like have, makes life not manageable. Once you get past 10 years old, no one longer cares or feels sorry that you are disabled or disfigured, you become discarded and forgotten. You go from being a poor child, to a monster, a freak, a invalid.

I understand you completely, but in life we have choices. These choices can predict our whole life, and suicide shouldn't be one of them.
LOVE YOURSELF and KNOW YOUR WORTH! Don't allow ANYONE to tell you different. God loves you for you and that is ALL THAT MATTERS.
I hope this encourage you and if you EVER have that thought again call the #National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255

This is great advice, sadly in a world where everyone's self worth is so closely tied to other people opinions, its hard to break free from the idea of not caring about what other people think. The world becomes a pretty lonely place, pretty quickly, if you don't have the support, love and acceptance of others.

This makes me sad. Just reading the words of someone who is in so much pain. I think every human deals with some amount of pain, and for others that pain can be much worse. I know that through most of my life I've always battled some form of depression and feeling like I'm worthless. My thoughts have never brought me to the consideration of suicide but I understand it when people get to that place. I know what it can feel like to be alone and feel like you don't have anyone that cares about you, but you have to keep moving forward and fighting back. I'm personally not that religious, but I do believe in some greater power out there, and you have to believe in something. And within that belief you can find hope. I think we are all here for a reason, even you and even me. What that reason is, we might never find out. But we have to keep the faith and not give up. LOVE is the key and I know it's hard to put yourself out there, but if you do, you give yourself a chance to find that love and acceptance that we all crave so much. Keep the darkness away and open your heart up to the love and beauty of the world. I will make the effort if you will. Deal?

I put myself out there all the time. But because of my genetic disorder, the world constantly rejects me. I have dealt with this all my life. As a child my parents said it will get easier when you get older because adults are not as mean as kids, but the exact opposite happened. Adult are even worse. If you look weird or strange, people always assume the worst. I spend 99% of my time alone not because I am a loaner, it is because know want to be seen or associate with someone who is physically different.

Last night was probably closest night I have ever came to taking my own life, I feel a little better today, I am really thinking about going to the hospital. There is no way in hell that I am going to do 40 more year of this.
