Great post orionschariot, your grandfather truly sounds like a wise and down-to-earth man who had his priorities straight and did his best to support those around him. To have someone like that in your life especially as a child is a gift to be cherished because their words stay with you for a lifetime, even when they were just "3 seconds worth" of words. To change judgment and prejudice into openness, insight and understanding is a goal I personally value and build on in my life. Upvoted and followed!
