Don't Believe Everything You Think

Perspective can be your biggest teacher or your biggest enemy.

We're trapped.

We aren't only limited to the human understanding, we are also limited to our personal perspective of understanding. When you consider the entire human species, you realize you can't even begin to imagine the vast diversity that lies inside of each individual whose minds are as unique as their fingerprints. With every intricate detail that has molded each and every human, has also created very specific neural connections which affect the way each brain processes information. We know the processes of the human brain are responsible for every characteristic that makes up a human. Not only with conscious decisions, which even those have been infuenced by your every experience, but especially subconscious decisions.

Our entire being, our entire sense of self, relies on the way our brain functions. We don't get to choose every way in which our brain functions.

Read that again, slower.

Our entire sense of self relies on the way our brain functions.

So how do we argue right and wrong when there is no wrong? Wrong is a label made by ones discretion. There can be no such thing when this entire reality is based solely on perspective. We have no higher source to guide us and give us a full objective view. Even when you consider the Holy Bible, the Quran, Bhagavad Gita, and any other religious text, we don't absorb this through which an actual higher source is feeding it to us. It is all digested through our own processing, which varies greatly among each person.

It's like one big cosmic joke. Having millions of little organisms trying to communicate and share ideas, while having some type of filter over their eyes and they are expected to remain peaceful and understand each other. Humans get so frustrated and confused when someone doesn't understand their point of view. It's as simple as forgetting each person has a different chemical make up. Each person has had their own set of experiences, feelings, actions and reactions. Each person is individually influenced by nature and nurture.

Imagine a world where no one made an attempt to convert someone else. A world where we asked questions because we wanted to learn, not to try and change something. We taught. We listened. We were intrigued. We appreciated something for what is was rather than needing it to mirror our ideas of our own self.
